Just Released: Updated and Expanded Ontario Class of 2016 Rankings

By Chris Kemlo and PBR Staff
PBR Ontario Scouting Director

We have updated our 2016 rankings based on what we have seen at our PBR showcases, practices, indoor workouts, along with other events over the cold winter months. Although it is only March, many Ontario teams will be heading south in the next two weeks, and believe it or not the baseball season in Ontario is just around the corner.

Below we take a look at "What's New At The Top", "The Risers", as well as "The Newcomers".

What's New At The Top

Andy Yerzy

We have a new number one at the top of the rankings with Andy Yerzy (Pictured right) making the leap from his previous number two rank. Yerzy has improved his body, as well as his pop time as he was a 1.85 at the Bureau camp. The big left-handed bat showed a consistent stroke while he squared balls up, made hard contact, and showed why people think there is some big power to come out of the 16 year old Yerzy.
