TOP PERFORMERS/NOTES:
+ In Burlington’s (19-1) second round game on Thursday at the 3A Council Regional Cobe Garcia tossed six shutout innings, giving up two hits, one walk and struck out five to earn the win against Pomona-West Franklin, final score 3-0. Senior RHP Brady Nordstedt pitched a scoreless seventh inning notch the save as the Wildcats advanced to the championship game.
+ Burlington’s Alexis Carrasco went 2-for-3 with a double to lead the offense against Pomona-West Franklin.
