2016 Recap
One of the More exciting state tournaments of the season had to be the 3A tournament. Aberdeen, Damascus, Huntingtown, and Chesapeake all played exciting state semifinal games, with Huntingtown and Chesapeake making it out on top. They took that excitement to the state championship where Huntingtown scored four runs in the seventh inning to capture the victory.
Two surprise teams did emerge from the 3A playoff with both Damascus and Aberdeen pulling off surprising runs to the state tournament. Let’s take our first look into 3A
