Top Underclass Uncommitted Right-Handed Pitchers

Jeff Criswell, RHP, Portage Central HS, 2017
Ranking: 5th in Michigan’s 2017 Class
Scouting Report: 6-foot-2, 175-pound prospect. Works with an upbeat tempo, throwing from a ¾ arm angle powering the ball downhill. Uses a high leg kick to disguise the ball and drives well off the back leg. Has a strong, 3-pitch arsenal. Fastball was 87-89 mph with sink, hard sweeping curve at 67-70 mph and fading changeup at 70-73 mph. Criswell has burst onto the scene with a strong summer. The right-hander should anchor a college rotation in the next few years.
