New England Insider: Uncommitted Senior Spotlight - Nicholas Brenchak, OF/RHP

Nicholas BrenchakName: Nicholas Brenchak
Position: OF/RHP
School: Middletown
Summer Ball: Middletown Legion
Class: 2016

Scouting Report: A right-handed hitter, the stance has a wide base, hands are set below the shoulders. The swing is uphill a bit, hands are very strong. The tee exit velocity was 87 mph and ran a 4.91 home to first. Swung the bat well in the game, collected a double and made solid contact all day. In the outfield, the arm registered 75 mph on the gun. The routes were good and attacked the ball well. The footwork gets a little long, needs to stay inline and not pull so hard with front side. Plays the game hard, someone to follow in the near future.
