New Jersey Draft Preview



The 2017 Major League Draft takes place June 12-14. In advance of the draft, Prep Baseball Report is posting a summary of each state in the coverage area with scouting reports on the top high school draft prospects.

After a historic year in which 12 New Jersey high school prospects were selected, 2017 hasn’t mustered quite the same attention. Six of the state’s top 15 were injured at some point during the season, leaving scouts with little to go on as the draft approaches.

74. Brad Dobzanski, RHP, Delsea HS, NJ
A Kentucky recruit, Dobzanski stands at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds with broad shoulders and a strong lower half. He has a smooth, repeatable delivery and comes through a high-3/4 slot.
