New Jersey Insider: 2015 Player Rankings Released

Each and every year New Jersey is filled with a large crop of talent throughout the high school landscape and each year its players are well represented at the next-levels of baseball, college and professional ranks. This 2015 senior class is no different. Filled with several pro-level prospects, New Jersey’s 2015 class has done very well in the recruiting process as it represented by more than 110 division one commits and many more players who will be playing some level of collegiate baseball. The 2015 class will be represented in many of the country’s best conferences in the upcoming years: ACC, Big Ten, Big East, Big South, Conference USA, CAA, MAC, A-10, Ivy League, and more.

While there are many players in the state who are worthy of notoriety, we wanted to greet the end of the 2015 high school season by presenting a comprehensive Top 50 Ranking for the 2015 class.

Highlighting this very talented class is an extremely strong Top 10 which features four pitchers and six position players.

No. 1 John Murphy, RHP, Gloucester Catholic
John Murphy has been a staple of Gloucester Catholic's success since his freshman season. The Maryland commit has an athletic, prototypical power pitcher's frame and will only get stronger.

The 6-foot-4, RHP uses an aggressive, up-tempo approach which adds to his mound presence. He utilizing a high leg kick delivery with a slight turn of the trunk that adds deception.
