SNEAK PEAK: Southern Ohio Unsigned Senior

THE ARMS

Henry von Hollen, RHP, Big Walnut HS, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot-7, projectable righty that has a high ceiling for growth had a very impressive outing at the Southern Ohio Unsigned Senior Games. He uses a near over the top arm slot following a slower tempo windup and easy leg lift. Shows athleticism on the mound and presents above average arm speed. Von Hollen showed a fastball that sat between 84-88 mph that shows occasional late life. Slider had a sharp, 10/4 bite thrown at 75-78 mph, and was one of the best breaking balls on the day. Also, showed a changeup at 76 mph.

Chaney Morgan, RHP/3B, Kettering Fairmont, 2017
Scouting Report: The 6-foot-2, 180-pound right handed pitcher showed a feel for a three pitch arsenal. He starts with an easy delivery in which he is smooth throughout and gets good extension on the backside. Fastball is thrown with above average effort and reached 88 mph. Curveball is near 12/6 with good downward tilt, thrown between 65-69 mph. Slider sat 75 mph and displayed sharp break.
