On the Recruiting Trail with 2016 LHP Mason Feole (Prout School)

By Dennis Healy
PBR MA Director of Scouting

Mason Feole, LHP, Prout School, 2016

PBR:  I understand you have had a very good high school career so far, who has helped you the most?

Feole: My parents, they have been there for me every step of the way. They have helped me so much in becoming a better person, student and baseball player, but the person that has most helped me by far has been my high school coach, Mike Labarbera. By playing for the Prout School and Coach Labarbera, over the past two years, I have learned so much about playing the game of baseball and truly feel that he has helped me tremendously in developing me as a person as well as a baseball player and a pitcher. He has shown me in two short years, what it means to play the game of baseball the right way, and how to never take a second of it for granted.

PBR: What do you plan on improving upon as your high school career progresses?

Feole: I plan on improving my physical ability and strength, as well as the mental aspect of the game over my next two years of high school. During the off-season and the next two seasons, I look forward to working hard every day to reach my goals and improving anyway I can to reach the next level of success I would like to achieve.
