Ontario Insider: Canadians Headed to JUCOs

Max HewittWe start with the most recent commitment in infielder Max Hewitt (pictured right). Hewitt was one of the standouts at our Top Prospect Games in August and has really come into his own over the last year. Originally a 2015 grad, Hewitt made the decision to stay back a year and become more physical while really focusing on his game. The decision seems to of paid off as Hewitt has played himself into a role with the Ontario Blue Jays 18u team in the middle of the diamond. He can play any position in the infield as well sees time sparingly behind the plate. His smooth hands, strong arm, and high baseball IQ make Max a strong addition to the Connors State program in Oklahoma.
