This weekend’s MACJC sophomore showcase is the perfect time to kick off Prep Baseball Report Mississippi’s coverage of Junior College action. The annual event is held in Raymond, MS on the campus of Hinds Community College, with all 15 junior colleges in the state being represented on this two-day event. There are numerous players in attendance who will make major impacts on their upcoming seasons as well as future seasons at the Division 1 level and beyond.

The event will be highlighted by some big arms. Professional scouts and college recruiters will all be in attendance to see the likes of RHP’s Will Freeman (Jones), Colby White (Pearl River), Tyler Spring (Jones), and Drake Nightengale (Pearl River).
