The Buzz: Three Illinois 2019s Make Commitments

It was a big week for the 2019 class in Illinois with three prospects making verbal commitments, including the No. 1 prospect in C Matt McCormick (St. Laurence HS, IL). A left-handed hitter with an advanced approach, McCormick chose West Virginia. RHP Nathan Rintz (Schaumburg HS, IL) committed to Arkansas and C Dylan Post (Lincoln-Way Central HS, IL) committed to Houston. Rintz has a lanky, projectable frame and pitches in the mid 80s while Post shows power potential from the left side of the plate.

In other recruiting news…

+ The No. 2 catcher in Tennessee’s 2018 class, Brayden Osborne (Mount Juliet HS, TN), committed to Alabama. A Future Games participant, he has quick, soft hands and exceptional mobility behind the plate. He has a simple approach at the plate with solid bat speed.
