Future Games Recap: Top 5 Risers from Team Ohio (2019s)

With the 2017 Future Games officially in the book, and the dust starting to settle, we take a look at some of the top risers from the event in the 2019 class.

The players on the list took their games to another level during short stints at the Future Games, and have propelled themselves to becoming common names in recruiting circles

Each player drew rave reviews, and had the PBR staff as well as college coaches buzzing.

JONATHAN MACHAMERLHP / 1B / MASSILON WASHINGTON, OH / 2019

Machamer walked away from the event as Ohio's top prospect in attendance, regardless of position. Jonathan is the younger brother of Chris Machamer, former MVP of the Future Games and current Kentucky Wildcat. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound southpaw filled up the zone with an 86-88 mph fastball with some deception from a 3/4 slot. His breaking ball was sharp and proved to be an effective out pitch at 77-79 mph. He also mixed in a changeup that showed good fade and was sold with arm speed similar to his fastball.
