The Ohio Big Board: Top Uncommitted Class of 2015 Middle Infield Prospects

When recruiting players and putting together a strong team, most coaches go by the philosophy of being strong up the middle. With that said some of the top middle infielders in the 2015 class have already committed. The top four ranked MIF's Jonathon Deifel (Kent State), Andrew Weber (Virginia), Josh Hollander (Kent State), and Casey Demko (Ohio State) are already locked up to attend top tier D-1 schools. Numerous other MIF's have also committed to Division 1 schools including OU, BGSU, and Michigan, but there are still plenty of athletic infielders to look at in the Buckeye State. Below we would like to highlight seven uncommitted prospects for everyone.

Top Uncommitted 2015 middle infielders
5-foot-10, 160-pound Top Prospect and Unsigned Senior Game participant. Ranked 81st in 2015 class. From the infield his hands really work well and has a good clean exchange. He shows some range and does a good job staying down on the baseball. He throws from a high-3/4 slot with a top velocity of 78 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that has good spread out stance with good balance. He has a good load with a short level swing and sprays the ball to all fields. Registered top exit velocity of 85 mph and runs a 6.90 60-yard dash. Receiving interest from Indiana, Wright State, Dayton, Old Dominion (VA.), Walters State CC and Louisburg CC.
