As we prepare for the upcoming 2015 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

2014 Post-Season Finish: Lost in Sectional

TOP PLAYERS

Cooper Jackson, 2015, R/R, 82-83 mph, good student.

Chase Fields, 2015, R/R, CF, #2 hitter last year, should hit over .400 this year. Good speed, should steal a lot of bases. Good student.

Charlie McCann, 2016, R/R, LF. Great speed: 11 sec.x 100 meter and 22 sec.x 200 meter. Best athlete on the team (brother LHP at ETSU) great student. Has potential to be Division I prospect.    

Trey Fields, 2017, R/R, SS/RHP, mid 80's. Will be worth watching the next 3 years, great student/athlete. Started SS last year as a freshman.                                                                                               

TOP UNDERCLASSMEN

Jordan Mullins, 2016, R/R, C, good defensively, very solid behind the plate. Good student.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

According to the Coach
We should be solid defensively with good speed on offense. Replacing our #1 starter and #1 reliever from last season will be tough. Our #1 is a senior and #2, 3 and 4 are all sophomores. If we can get out of District, we could find ourselves back in sectional game again.
