Here is a look at some of the scores from around the state on Monday, March 20, 2017.

Davidson Academy 1, Trinity Presbyterian (AL) 0
The Bears found a way to pull out the biggest of pitching duels on Monday afternoon with a 1-0 score.  DA was no-hit in the game, but managed to push across a run after an error and a couple of walks allowed James Flynn to score on a Marcus Watson ground ball.  Brock Myers was the story of the game, throwing a complete-game shutout while allowing only 1 hit and striking out 9.

Clarksville 8, Northeast 1 
Clarksville's Cody Spurgeon remained dominant on the mound on Monday afternoon for the Wildcats.  Spurgeon recorded the complete-game W, allowing only 3 hits and 3 walks, while striking out 14 hitters.  Teal Young went 3-4 with a run and an RBI, while Skylar Luna and Chase Nichols each drove in 2 runs.

Goodpasture Christian 10, Har-Ber (AR) 8
Goodpasture Christian put together an 8-run 4th inning to take the lead for good on Monday afternoon.  Gage Gregory led the way for the Cougars by finishing 3-4 with a double, 2 RBI and 2 runs scored, while Ryan Lyle, Zachary Wallace, Luke Dotson, and Wyatt Blessing each added 2 his of their own. 

McNairy Central 11, Hamilton (AL) 2
McNairy Central got ahead early and never looked back in Monday afternoon's victory with 2 hits and  3 RBI from Thomas Stevens leading the way.  Dru Yopp also finished 2-3, while Logan Essery and Logan Roberts combined to go 2-4 with 3 RBI and 5 runs scored.  Peyton Childers struck out 6 in 3 innings of shutout baseball on the mound. 

McNairy Central 3, Batesville (AR) 0
Parker Childers dominated the day by tossing a complete-game shutout in the second half of the Bobcats' Monday double-header. Childers tallied 13 strikeouts in the 7 innings, while allowing only 2 hits and 3 walks.  Thomas Stevens, Sidney Rickman, and Dru Yopp all had 2 hits and Braden Rickman drove in a run with a hit in the 6th.

Summit 9, Valleyview (AR) 1
Summit put together a strong team performance to get the victory on Monday afternoon.  6 Spartans tallied at least 1 hit and 1 RBI, with Brandon Johns leading the way (2-4, 2B, 2 R, 1 RBI).  Cole Thomason got the W on the mound by tossing all 7 innings, while allowing only 1 run on 5 hits and 2 walks.  Thomason struck out 6.

Beech 10, Guntersville (AL) 0
Seth Marlin dealt a complete-game shutout for the Buccaneers, allowing only 6 hits and 2 walks while striking out 7 in the win.  Ryan Mortensen and Hunter Crawford combined to go 5-6 with 4 runs and 3 RBI, while Ty Sutley added a home run.  Nelson Smith also had 2 hits, 1 run, and 1 RBI.

Beech 7, Hamilton (AL) 2
The Buccaneers ran out a total team effort in their win over Hamilton on Monday afternoon.  8 Beech players recorded at least 1 hit, while 5 recorded at least 1 RBI.  Ty Sutley led the way, finishing 2-3 with a double, 1 run, and 1 RBI.

Greeneville 11, Claiborne 1
Greeneville received strong performances on the mound from Jacques Gillespie-Taylor and KJ Shepherd in their Monday evening victory.  The two combined to throw 6 innings of 1 run baseball, allowing only 6 hits while striking out 7.  Offensively, the Devils got a boost from Cody Hartness' 4 RBI night and Caden Ramsey finished 2-3 with 2 runs scored.

Jefferson County 11, Cocke County 0
Brandon Saylor complete a 5-inning perfect game for the Patriots on Monday evening, striking out 10 Cocke County hitters in their 11-0 win.  Jonathan Royster and Jacob Rogers combined to go 3-3 with 4 runs scored and 1 RBI, while Matt Bradley added a hit and 3 RBI of his own.

Bearden 13, Lenoir City 1
Clark Poynter (2-2, 2 R, 4 RBI) and Brandon Trammel (1-3, 1 R, 3 RBI) both went deep for the Bulldogs on Monday evening against Lenoir City.  Shawn Deangelo threw all 5 innings, allowing only 1 hit and 1 unearned run while striking out 8.

Karns 16, Oak Ridge 5
Jared Culp led the way to victory for the Beavers on Monday evening, allowing only 2 hits and 1 unearned run in his 4 innings of work.  Culp struck out 3 and also contributed with a 3-4, 4 RBI night of his own.  Alex Hames, Trevor Adams, Isaac Cooper, and Tyler Hartless combined to go 9-13 with 8 RBI and 9 runs scored.

Milan 8, Liberty Tech 1
Connor Creasy neared perfection on the mound in Monday evening's victory over Liberty Tech.  Creasy allowed only 1 hit and 1 unearned run without a walk, while striking out 14 in his 7 innings of work.  Seth Elliot went 2-3 with 2 runs and 1 RBI and Jay Hatfield finished 1-2 with 3 runs scored.

Brentwood Academy 14, DeQueen (AR) 2
Graham Tulloch contributed a strong performance on the mound for the Eagles, tossing 6 innings and allowing only 2 hits and 2 runs (1 earned).  Tulloch struck out 15 and walked only 1.  Connor Woodlee went 2-3 with 1 run and 3 RBI for the offense while Bryce Jarvis finished 1-2 with 2 runs and 2 RBI.

Huntingdon 12, Dresden 0
Hunter Ensley shined for the Mustangs on Monday night, throwing a complete-game no-hitter and finishing 2-3 with 1 run and 1 RBI at the plate.  Ensley threw 5 innings and struck out 9, while allowing only 3 walks.  Kyle Lutz went 2-3 with a home run, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored.  Kade Pearson and Ben Clifft also added multi-hit performances. 

Soddy Daisy 6, East Hamilton 2
Soddy Daisy got a strong performance from Logan Workman on the mound, as he tossed 5 innings of no-hit baseball, allowing only walks and striking out 6.  Harrison Travis finished 2-3 with 3 RBI for the Trojans and Justin Cooke went 2-4 with 1 run, himself.

Dyer County 1, Next Level Baseball 0
Jordan Fowler tossed a complete-game no-hitter for the Choctaws on Monday night to seal the victory over Next Level.  Fowler struck out 10 and allowed only 4 walks in his 7 innings on the mound.  Zack Epperson and Cam Barlow had the only hits for Dyer County.

Collierville 17, Siloam Springs 0
Parker Moss and Hunter Denley combined for the shutout in Monday night's Dragon victory.  Moss threw the first 4 innings, allowing only 1 hit and striking out 4 and Denley struck out 1 in the 5th.  Kobe Perkins, Noah Hattier, and Christopher Straw combined to go 4-8 with 6 runs and 5 RBI.

Dobyns-Bennett 5, Volunteer 2
Parker Hill went 2-4 with a double, 1 run, and 3 RBI in the Dobyns-Bennett win on Monday night.  Evan Mahaffey and Isaac Whitehead both went 2-3 and combined to score 3 runs.  Matt Taylor got the W on the mound, tossing the final 1.2 innings and allowing only 1 hit while striking out 2. 

Elizabethton 5, Sullivan 0
Matthew Daily dominated the day for the Cyclones, tossing the complete-game shutout and allowing only 2 his in the 7-inning game.  Daily struck out 6 and didn't walk anyone.  Evan Carter and Michael Robinson both went 2-3 with an extra-base hit.
