Most Viewed Player Profiles of 2014: No. 1 Donny Everett

By Doug Hall
Tennessee Director of Scouting

As you well know, PBR Tennessee began operations in 2014, and we felt it would be interesting to take a look at the ten most viewed Tennessee player profiles on the PBR website since we began operations.

Though we began scouting games and providing information on players in the late spring and early summer, we didn't run our first event in the state until August 24. Therefore, as we look at the ten most viewed profiles from 2014, it will only include profile views from August 24 to now.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound right handed power pitcher will undoubtedly draw a crowd of pro scouts each time he takes the mound for Clarksville HS this spring. We saw Everett in Jupiter in October as scouts packed in behind the plate to see his 92-95 mph fastball that touched 96. His slider is a sharp pitch, 79-82 mph with hard break away from right-handed hitters. He also shows a curveball with shape & depth and flashes a changeup in the low-80's that he should become more comfortable going to as it develops. Everett has committed to play for Vanderbilt and is a possible first-round draft in the MLB draft in June.
