Most Viewed Player Profiles of 2014: No. 3 Duncan Pence

By Doug Hall
Tennessee Director of Scouting

As you well know, PBR Tennessee began operations in 2014, and we felt it would be interesting to take a look at the ten most viewed Tennessee player profiles on the PBR website since we began operations.

Though we began scouting games and providing information on players in the late spring and early summer, we didn't run our first event in the state until August 24. Therefore, as we look at the ten most viewed profiles from 2014, it will only include profile views from August 24 to now.

Pence put on a show to earn MVP honors of the Prep Baseball Report Future Games in August as a member of Team Select.  With the majority of pitchers sitting in the high-80's to low-90's, Pence barreled up most everything thrown his way in going 4-for-7 with a double, three RBI, two walks, four runs scored, and a stolen base.  Pence's game performance followed up what was arguably the best two rounds of batting practice at the positional player workout at the event.  At that workout Pence ran a 7.06 60-yard dash, was clocked at 84 mph across the infield, and recorded a 94 mph exit velocity.  Pence committed to Tennessee late in the summer.
