Most Viewed Player Profiles of 2014: No. 9 Max Murray

By Doug Hall
Tennessee Director of Scouting

As you well know, PBR Tennessee began operations in 2014, and we felt it would be interesting to take a look at the ten most viewed Tennessee player profiles on the PBR website since we began operations.

Though we began scouting games and providing information on players in the late spring and early summer, we didn't run our first event in the state until August 24. Therefore, as we look at the ten most viewed profiles from 2014, it will only include profile views from August 24 to now.

No. 9 max murraymurray

Murray, a 5-foot-8, 163 pound 2B from Memphis University School participated in the Fall Top Prospect Games Event at Lipscomb University on November 1.  Murray had a solid day going 2-for-4 in game play with two sharply hit singles.  The left-handed hitter uses a slightly open hitting stance and squares his front side with a short stride.  He showed some hand quickness in getting the barrel through the zone and registered an exit velocity off the tee at 82 mph.  Murray posted a 4.48 home to first base time and showed solid defensive abilities as well.  Murray will be participating in our Mid-South Tri-State Showcase on Jan.25 in Memphis.
