Hitter Of The Week: 2017 SS J.T. Thompson (Wakeland)

Each week, PBR Texas will be showcasing a Hitter Of The Week. The talent level in this state is second-to-none, and our Scouting Staff is covering games and evaluating players on a daily basis. This week our winner is from Frisco Wakeland High School.

J.T. Thompson, Wakeland HS, 2017
Thompson, a Weatherford JC recruit, went 3-4 with 3 HR and 6 RBI vs Centennial on Thursday in Wakeland's 9-2 win over Centennial in a game for 1st place in 13-5A. Wakeland is now 9-1, and Centennial 8-2 in district. This is the 1st time a Wakeland player has hit 3 home runs in a game.
