Player Of The Week: 2018 RHP Drew Shifflet (Woden HS)

Each week, PBR Texas will be showcasing a Player Of The Week. The talent level in this state is second-to-none, and our Scouting Staff is covering games and evaluating players on a daily basis. This weeks player of the week comes to us from East Texas and District 23-2A.

Drew Shifflet, RHP, Woden HS, 2018
Junior right-hander Drew Shifflet appeared in two games last week, including a start, and went six innings, allowed 0-Runs on 0-Hits, 0-BB’s and 12-K’s. Offensively, Shifflet was 5-for-9 with 2-2B’s, a HR, 7-RBI and 3-runs scored. Also worth noting is that he was robbed of a bases loaded, base-clearing double on Tuesday by a great diving play with two outs by the center fielder from Shelbyville.
