SEASON OUTLOOK
Amherst County had an outstanding 2015 season that saw them reach the Regional Semifinals before losing to a very good Jefferson Forest team that eventually reached the State Championship game. The Lancers finished the 2015 season ranked in the PBR VA/DC Power 25. Amherst County lost two very important pieces to graduation as their top two arms have were seniors in 2015. Jason Thacker (P, 2015) was an All-State honoree and Nathan Trevillian (RHP, 2015) was drafted and signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates.
