SEASON OUTLOOK
Monacan is coming off of a bit of a rebuilding 2015 season that saw them reach the Conference Tournament and win their first round game before being eliminated. The 2016 Chief lineup will be hurt by the loss of Kevin Granger (OF, Norfolk State), but otherwise brings back a decent group that will be led by Liverpool and Robinson. The defense will be anchored by Robinson by the plate and Barber will lead a deep group of returning pitchers highlighted by Crute. Monacan will be strong defensively and limit opposing offenses in 2016, if the Chiefs can find consistent offense, they will be dangerous in Conference 20 and could return to the Regional Tournament.
