Clarke is a South Carolina commit and has been the centerpiece of Liberty Christian’s offense since he was a freshman, providing power to all fields with consistent hard contact. Good thrower behind the plate with a strong arm as well…Hackenberg has a mature frame and transferred to the Miller School last summer. He has a ton of bat speed and power potential while throwing under 2 on his pop times, he is currently the top ranked prospect in VA/DC in his class…Morgan is a very good receiver and blocker with a quick release and accurate arm. Easy doubles power and uses the whole field to hit for a high average.

Antonellis was the centerpiece in Potomac’s 2016 offense and will be back in the middle of the Panther order again this spring. He has home run power and is a solid defender at short…Cook is a VMI recruit and is a very good defender that covers a lot of ground and shows arm strength. He is a line drive hitter with gap power and the potential to hit for a high average…Jones is a James Madison commit and has a quick first step on the infield and excellent hands, he also has a strong projectable frame and good bat speed…Knight is a VMI recruit and is an athletic infielder with a line drive swing and some power potential that should help anchor what will be a good Amherst County line-up…Roberts is an Elon recruit and has a short, quick line drive swing with power potential to his pull side. Very fluid in the field with a arm strength…Tucker is a West Virginia commit and is one of the most projectable athletes in Virginia, he brings outstanding speed on the bases and is a good, athletic defender with a good arm. He has batspeed and the potential to develop power to go with his speed.

Campbell is a UNC Asheville recruit who has an above average arm and sub 7 speed to go with a quick bat with easy doubles power to all fields. He also chips in on the mound and will again be the centerpiece in second-year program Riverside’s lineup…Horton is a South Carolina commit and has good speed and a quick first step to go with a strong arm in the outfield. He has a short line drive swing, using the whole field with the potential to hit for high average and use his speed on the bases…Hurdle is an Old Dominion commit and was an All-State honoree in 2016 and will be back at the top of the Bruins’ lineup this spring…Jackson is a Naval Academy commit and has an athletic frame with a short swing and home run power to his pull side.

Gregory emerged as a true high school ace last spring with a dominant performance down the stretch for Hickory, look for the Old Dominion commit to build off that success with his high 80s fastball and lanky frame…Kennedy is a Kennesaw State commit and did a great job in as Millbrook’s number two in 2016. Due to injury, he will see his role increase as Millbrook looks for the ace that will get the Pioneers past the other big boys in 4A West…Kobersteen flashed ace potential at times during his sophomore campaign and the George Washington commit has the potential to dominate competition as his frame has plenty of projection left and his mid-80s fastball pairs well with a strikeout slider…Muir is a New Orleans commit and has a lanky frame and a fastball that has been up to 89. Look for him to move into the top spot in Godwin’s rotation as they look to return to the 5A State Tournament…Ottinger is a James Madison recruit and emerged as Benedictine’s top arm down the stretch in 2016, outdueling Rafi Vazquez and Bishop O’Connell in the VISAA State Quarterfinals. Look for him to lead the way on the mound as Benedictine is poised for a big season…Sanchez is an Alabama commit with an electric arm that has reached 90. He has a ton of projection left with a very lanky frame and should have a big impact at Paul VI after transferring in this summer…Smallwood had one of the more dominant seasons of any pitcher in Virginia in 2016, throwing two no-hitters and striking out well over 100 batters in less than seventy innings of work while leading Eastside to the 1A State Tournament…Williams is a Radford commit who led Windsor to the 1A State Championship game in 2016 and could easily carry them back this spring.

Menendez is a Wake Forest recruit and has been a fixture in Herndon’s rotation since he was a sophomore. On the mound he works from multiple angles, with his sidearm producing a fastball with heavy sink in the mid-80s to go with a good slider. At the plate he has some bat speed and will provide power in the middle of the Hornet lineup…Plummer is a Tennessee commit and will provide the latest high-velocity arm that Hanover will run out there with a fastball that has reached 90. He has an easy delivery and can also contribute at the plate with some pull power potential and bat speed…Steinberg is a Miami (FL) commit and emerged as one of St. John’s top arms in 2016. His fastball was consistently in the upper 80s in the fall as he continues to develop on the mound. When not pitching, he has a strong arm in the field and good actions at third, he also has a quick bat with some pull power potential.
