Every Friday, PBR VA/DC posts all commitments from the previous week in this space, very much like Prep Baseball Report does nationally on Fridays with the Buzz. Make sure to let us know when you commit by quickly filling out our Commitment Questionnaire.

Nathan Neff

Nathan Neff, 2B, Mountain View, 2016
Neff committed to Concord Univeristy. He hits from an open and tall stance and had a smooth load that allowed him to get back with a short stride. He used his lower half to get the barrel to the ball. Neff had an exit velocity of 74 mph in February of 2015. Neff showed a good approach with a level swing path. He is a line drive hitter that can hit the ball the other way. In the field, he threw from a high three-quarters arm slot with accuracy. His positional velocity was 69 mph in February of 2015. He displayed soft hands that allowed for quick, clean exchanges.

Mark Terrell

Mark Terrell, 1B, Highland School, 2016
Terrell committed to Stevenson University. He stands an imposing 6-6 and has an extremely strong frame. He has an open stance with a slight crouch and hits from the right side. He loads back and has a high leg kick. Gets good lower half into swing. Short bat path that gets in and out of zone. Power potential when he stays through contact. Exit velocity of 89 mph. He has a clean exchange and gets rid of ball quickly. Throws on turn got up to 60 mph.
