2017 Future Games: Wisconsin Ties Indiana

WESTFIELD, IN - Team Wisconsin matched up with Team Indiana to open gameplay at the 2017 PBR Future Games. Wisconsin played to a 4-4 tie in its first of three games.

Drew Lechnir (Kimberly) got the bottom half of the first started by driving the first pitch of the inning to right center for a single and took second on a throwing error. Brent Widder (Sheboygan North) stepped up with a two out RBI single to tie the game at one.

Dylan Krumrei (Oshkosh North) opened the bottom of the third by taking a 93 mph fastball to the gap in left centerfield for a double. Krumrei came around to score on a fielder's choice from Alex Huissen (Indian Trail). Zach Lechnir (Kimberly) and Widder scored the other two runs for Wisconsin.

Widder finished the game two for three with two singles, an RBI, and a run scored.

On the mound Hunter Rosenbaum (Webster), Riley LeTourneau (Brookfield East), Connor Langreder (West De Pere), Mitchell Woelfe and (Janesville Craig) did not allow a run in their innings of work.
