An eight-run explosion in the sixth inning carried the Libertyville (IL) Wildcats to a 15-4 win in seven innings over Waunakee at Miller Park on Wednesday. Jarret Fueger and Dillon Haasl both chipped in two hits for Waunakee in the loss.

Keaton Rock got the win for St. Francis. He allowed one run over seven innings. Rock struck out nine, walked none and gave up four hits. St. Francis was sparked by A.J. Gebhard and Kyle Brickner, who teamed up for six hits and three RBIs.

Verona	2	Portage	8
Verona Area lost 8-2 to Portage at Miller Park. Ben Rortvedt reached base four times. He also drove in one runner. He tripled in the first inning. Hunter Lehman got the win for Portage. He allowed two runs over six innings. Lehman struck out two, walked five and gave up five hits. Portage was sparked by Jake Kastenholz and Patrick Austin, who teamed up for three hits and four RBIs.
