St. Catherine’s 10, Shoreland Lutheran 0
St. Catherine's shut the door early on Shoreland Lutheran, capturing a 10-0 victory on Saturday at Horlick Field.

With nine runs in the first three innings, the Angels left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A two-run home run by Shey Smith in the first inning and a three-run double by Smith in the second inning supplied the early offense for St. Catherine's. Smith racked up five RBI on two hits.

The St. Catherine's Angels got the win thanks in large part to Derek Heffel's dominant, 10-strikeout performance. The Angels pitcher tossed six innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

The game was decided quickly as the Angels scored seven runs in the first three innings.

Shey Smith went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate for St. Catherine's.

Colin Dresen got the win for the Angels thanks to 10 strikeouts. Dresen allowed one earned run on four hits and no walks over seven innings.

Sun Prairie 4, Janesville Craig 1
Sun Prairie and Janesville Craig each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but Sun Prairie capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-1 win at Riverside Park.

Janesville Craig had four hits compared with Sun Prairie's two, but Janesville Craig stranded five runners on base.

Sam Lund got the win for Sun Prairie thanks to seven strikeouts. Lund allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over seven innings.

Sun Prairie went up for good in the second, scoring four runs on a two-run error, an RBI single by Brian Assalone, and a wild pitch.

The lone run of the game for Janesville Craig crossed the plate in the fifth inning on an RBI single by Justin Graham.

Green Lake Princeton 3, Montello 2
The Montello Hilltoppers jumped out to an early lead, but was unable to hold on and lost 3-2 to Green Lake / Princeton on Saturday.

While the Hilltoppers led until the fifth inning, Green Lake / Princeton worked its way back and took the lead on a groundout by Noah Polcyn.

Montello was led by a flawless day at the dish by Luke Hengen, who went 3-for-3 against Green Lake / Princeton's pitching. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the first and sixth innings.

Cordell Walker recorded the win for Green Lake / Princeton. He tossed seven innings of shutout ball. Walker struck out five, walked four and gave up two hits.

Green Lake Princton 4, Montello 0
Connor Klapper did all he could to give Montello a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Green Lake / Princeton, as Montello Hilltoppers Varsity lost 4-0 in seven innings at Home on Saturday.

Klapper had a hot bat for the Hilltoppers. Klapper went 2-for-3. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Noah Polcyn got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He pitched seven shutout innings. Polcyn struck out eight, walked one and gave up three hits.

Green Lake / Princeton was sparked by Cordell Walker and Polcyn, who teamed up for four hits and two RBI.

Lakeland Union 9, Northland Pines 0
Lakeland Union blew out Northland Pines 9-0 on Saturday at Lakeland after pouring on six runs in the fifth inning.

Matt Hartzheim racked up two RBI on three hits for Lakeland Union. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

Gunnar Dunbar kept Northland Pines off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on four hits while striking out six.

Lakeland Union 8, Northland Pines 2
Northland Pines didn't stand a chance on Saturday, as Lakeland Union captured a blowout 8-2 win in seven innings at Lakeland.

Matt Hartzheim did his best to jumpstart the offense for Lakeland Union, reaching base four times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the second and seventh innings.

Nick Peterson got the win. Peterson allowed two earned runs, five hits and four walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Bonduel 11, Wittenberg Birnamwood 0
Despite a big day at the dish from Colin Klumpyan, who finished 2-for-2, Wittenberg-Birnamwood lost 11-0 to Bonduel at Bonduel on Saturday.

Liebergon recorded the win for Bonduel. He tossed three innings of shutout ball. Liebergon struck out three, walked one and gave up three hits.

Bonduel 5, Whittenberg Birnamwood 4

La Follete 9, Verona 7
Trevor Kermicle had a perfect day at the plate, but it wasn't enough to get past Madison LaFollette, as the Verona Wildcats lost 9-7 in seven innings on Saturday.

Kermicle got a hit in each of his three at bats. He singled in the third, fourth, and sixth innings.

Even though Troy Teigen allowed five runs over six innings he still recorded the victory. Teigen struck out seven, walked one and gave up seven hits.

LaFollette was sparked by Riley Anderson and Kian O'Brien, who teamed up for four hits and four RBI.

Verona 13, Lafollete 9
Down five runs in the fifth, the Verona Wildcats Varsity recovered thanks to Ryan Pynnonen's single in the eighth, and pulled out a 13-9 win over Madison LaFollette on Saturday.

With the score tied at nine in the eighth inning, Pynnonen came to the plate and singled.

Sam Sharer got on base five times in the game for the Verona. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Kyle Reichert went 2-for-3 with three RBI to pace the Wildcats.

Monroe 3, Parkview 2
Sean Saxby brought home the winning run to give Monroe the lead in the seventh inning, as the Cheesemakers hung on to beat Parkview 3-2 on Saturday.

Lane Berndt pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs on six hits. Berndt faced his trickiest spot in the seventh inning.

Neither team scored until the sixth when the Cheesemakers got on the board. Monroe scored on a two-run single by Berndt.

Parkview answered and scored two runs of its own in the sixth. Parkview scored on a groundout by Trevor Aasen and an RBI single by Jarrett Warden.

Fennimore 13, Boscobel 3
The Fennimore Golden Eagles refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Boscobel, recording a 13-3 victory on Saturday at Fennimore.

The game was decided quickly as the Golden Eagles exerted their will early with 10 runs in the first three innings.

Tyler Hunt went a perfect 3-for-3 at the dish for the Golden Eagles.

Trevor Lyster got the win for Fennimore. He allowed two runs over five innings. Lyster struck out six, walked two and gave up nine hits.

The Fennimore Golden Eagles Varsity pounded Boscobel pitching, as six hitters combined for 15 hits, 10 RBI and eight runs scored.

Lake Country Lutheran 7, Brookfield Academy 6
Brookfield Academy was never able to get over the hump and get over its troubles against the Lake Country Lutheran Lightning on Saturday, as Brookfield Academy fell 7-6 after falling behind by seven runs in the seventh inning.

Brookfield Academy stared a 7-0 deficit in the face in the seventh inning and scored six runs in the seventh on an RBI double by Spencer Francis, a two-run error, a two-run single by Nate Stolte, and a wild pitch. Still, Brookfield Academy couldn't draw even.

Jesse Turner racked up four RBI on two hits for the Lake Country Lutheran Lightning. He doubled in the first and seventh innings.

BJ Sabol picked up the win for the Lightning. Sabol allowed two earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out 12 over 6 2/3 innings of work.

Brookfield Academy 11, Lake Country Lutheran 0
Ben Wilkins went 2-for-3 at the plate, but the Lake Country Lutheran Lightning fell 11-0 to Brookfield Academy on Saturday.

Nate Stolte got the win for Brookfield Academy. He pitched six shutout innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered six hits.

Brookfield Academy's Sam Meier, Dom Ricci, Jake Kolasinski and Stolte combined for 10 hits and eight RBI.

Manitowoc Lutheran 7, Reedsville 1
Manitowoc Lutheran rolled over Reedsville 7-1 on Saturday after a four-run rally in the first inning.

It was a good day at the plate for Manitowoc Lutheran's Ryan LeClair. LeClair went 4-for-5 and scored three runs. He singled in the first, second, fourth, and seventh innings.

Kyle Staudt got the win for the Lancers. He allowed one run over seven innings. Staudt struck out seven, walked none and gave up six hits.

Beaver Dam 12, St. Joseph’s 1
Beaver Dam blew out St. Joseph 12-1 on Saturday after pouring on seven runs in the second inning.

Bryce Schmitt racked up two RBI on three hits for Beaver Dam. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the second and fourth innings.

The Golden Beavers got the win thanks in large part to Matt Berg's dominant, seven-strikeout performance. Berg allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk over five innings.

St. Joseph’s 14, Beaver Dam 5
Parker Sadowski went 3-for-4 at the plate, but Beaver Dam fell 14-5 to St. Joseph on Saturday.

Two of the Golden Beavers’ runs were scored thanks to timely hitting by Sadowski. He singled in the first, third, and sixth innings.

Pete Del Fava got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He allowed three runs over four innings. Del Fava struck out two, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Kyle Koth, Pete Schuler, Zach Dutter and Tyler Salmons helped lead St. Joseph. They combined for eight hits and seven RBI.

Valders 11, St. Mary’s Central 2
Austin Weich went 3-for-3 at the plate, but St. Mary Central fell 11-2 to Valders on Saturday.

Luke Schuh got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over seven innings. Schuh struck out six, walked two and gave up six hits.

St. Mary Central 6, Valders 5
St. Mary Central and Valders passed the lead back and forth five times on Saturday, but in the end the Zephyrs pulled out a 6-5 win in seven innings over Valders.

St. Mary Central finally managed to grab the lead after a strong sixth inning. The Zephyrs scored on an RBI double by Griffin Jack, plating Tyler Nelson.

Caleb Davidson got the win for St. Mary Central despite allowing five runs over six innings. He struck out one, walked three and surrendered eight hits.

St. Mary Central Zephyrs Varsity was sparked by Nathan Jack and Griffin Jack, who teamed up for three hits and four RBI.

Big Foot 9, Brodhead 7
Big Foot ended up on top with a 9-7 win in seven innings over Brodhead.

Big Foot took the lead in the seventh inning and held on for the victory. The Chiefs scored on an RBI triple by Alex Landers, bringing home Brian Wolski.

Alex Landers paced Big Foot at the plate. Landers went 3-for-4, drove in one and scored two runs.

Billy Landers got the win for the Chiefs. He allowed two runs over two innings. Landers struck out one, walked none and gave up three hits.

Big Foot 13, Brodhead 1
Big Foot refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Brodhead, recording a 13-1 victory on Saturday. Eight runs in the first three innings allowed the Chiefs to put the game away early.

Alex Landers racked up three RBI on three hits for Big Foot.

Austin Hoey got the win for the Chiefs thanks to 10 strikeouts. Hoey allowed one earned run, two hits and five walks over five innings.

Waupun 12, Turner 3
Waupun pounded Turner on Saturday 12-3 at The Gus in seven innings.

Ryan Durant was hot from the plate for the Warriors. Durant went 4-for-5 and scored four runs. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings.

Jordan Moul got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over four innings. Moul struck out two, walked five and gave up two hits.

Wisconsin Rapids 15, Columbus Catholic 5
Wisconsin Rapids jumped out to an early lead on Columbus Catholic and captured a 15-5 victory on Saturday at Witter Field.

The game was decided quickly as Wisconsin Rapids Assumption exerted its will early with 11 runs in the first three innings.

Casey Steele boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 4-for-4 day at the plate to pace Wisconsin Rapids. He singled in the first, second, and third innings and doubled in the fifth inning.

Assumption hammered Columbus Catholic pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 12 hits, 11 RBI and 12 runs scored.

Wisconsin Rapids Assumption 12, Columbus Catholic 2
A seven-run explosion in the fourth inning spurred Wisconsin Rapids Assumption to a 12-2 win in five innings over Columbus Catholic at Witter Field on Saturday.

Chase Lamp boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-for-2 day at the plate to pace Wisconsin Rapids Assumption. He singled in the first and fifth innings.

Matt Riebe recorded the win for Assumption. He allowed two runs over four innings. Riebe struck out six, walked two and gave up six hits.

Union Grove 5, Burlington 1
Adam Filz went 2-for-4, sparking Union Grove to a 5-1 victory in seven innings over Burlington on Saturday. He singled in the fifth and sixth innings.

The Broncos got the win thanks in large part to Ben Miller's dominant, 11-strikeout performance. Miller allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk over seven innings.

Shullsburg Benton 14, Belmont 4
Shullsburg/Benton rolled over Belmont 14-4 on Saturday at Shullsburg after a nine-run rally in the second inning.

Pierce Russell racked up six RBI on three hits for Shullsburg/Benton. He tripled in the second inning, homered in the fourth inning, and singled in the fifth inning.

Matt Cook recorded the win. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked four and surrendered four hits.

Waterloo 12, New Glarus 0
Waterloo refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against New Glarus, recording a 12-0 victory on Saturday at New Glarus.

Jordan Hensler racked up three RBI on two hits for Waterloo .

New Glarus couldn't get anything going so long as Ben Lincks was on the hill. New Glarus managed just one hit off of the Waterloo pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his four innings of work.

Watertown 6, DeForest 4
Casey Schuett racked up two RBI on two hits for Watertown. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Luke Kopfer recorded the win for Watertown Goslings. He allowed three runs over five innings. Kopfer struck out five, walked two and gave up six hits.
