Saturday April 6

Purple 8, Black 2

Ben Zbikowski (South Milwaukee, 2014) pitched five innings surrendering just two hits and two runs while striking out three to pick up the win.

Zbikowski also added a two RBI double to help his cause. Jake Harley (Brookfield Central, 2014) also added two hits.

Carolina Blue 12, Gold 1

Six runs in the first inning sealed the deal for Carolina Blue. Mitchel Makarewicz (Oak Creek, 2015) got the win throwing five shutout innings recording seven strikeouts.

Oak Creek sophomore outfielder Doran Turchin had a great day at the plate. Turchin went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs and two RBI.  Jonah Meidl Zahorodny (Wauwatosa East, 2014) added four hits and two runs.

Sam Wojs, Dominic Clementi, Matt Hamilton, Ben DeGracie and Pete Koscinski all added two hits for Gold.

Royal Blue 9, Purple 1

Purple was held to just two hits on the day, losing by a score of 9-1. Alex Kermendy (Waukesha West, 2015) had two RBI while Chase Scharnek (Waukesha West, 2015) added two hits.

Navy 8, Gold 8

Cedarburg sophomore infielder Drake Daniels went 3-for-4 with a homerun and two RBI. Doran Turchin (Oak Creek, 2015) and Jack Kinzer (Port Washington, 2016) both added triples.

For team Navy, Carthage College recruit Jake Erfourth (Homestead, 2013) hit a homerun while Marcel Mundt (West Allis Hale, 2013) added three hits.

Navy 7, Carolina Blue 0

Josh Serio (Whitnall, 2013, Heartland CC recruit) went five innings of two hit baseball fanning seven to pick up the win. Serio walked just one and faced only 17 batters in his five innings of work. CJ Putterman (Nicolet, 2013, McHenry County recruit) finished the shutout pitching two innings of relief.

Nate Hammel (Muskego, 2013) and Hayden Krimmer (Oak Creek, 2013) both added three hits for Navy.

 

Sunday April 7

Red 8, Grey 5

Brandon Parr (Mukwanago, 2014) did not allow an earned run in his four inning stint. He surrendered four hits and struck out two.

Trevor Bednarek (Muskego HS, 2014), Dominic Clementi (Arrowhead HS, 2016) and Hayden Krimmer (Oak Creek HS, 2015) all had two hits on the day.

Navy 12,  Red 4

Evan Kruczynski (Franklin HS, 2013), an East Carolina commit, recorded 10 strikeouts in five innings of work to pick up the win.

Dominic Clementi and Eric Ranchau (Brookfield Central HS, 2013) each had three hits for Navy.

Riley Richarz (Brookfield Central HS, 2014) added three hits for team Red.

Grey 3, Red 2

Taylor Grimm (Cedarburg HS, 2014) had two hits for team Red including a double.

Nick McLees (Marquette HS, 2014) pitched well for team Red going four innings surrendering just three hits and one walk. He also struck out three.
