Madison Preseason ID: Stats Posted

After a long day of evaluating some of the top prospects that Wisconsin has to offer, we have compiled all of the stats from the Madison Preseason I.D. to unveil today.
Several of the state’s finest put on impressive showings, none more impressive than 2016 LHP Jack Eagan (Wautoma). Last year at this same time Eagan impressed us as a freshman topping out at 84 mph. One year and four mph later and Eagan is now topping out at a heavy 88 mph as just a sophomore.
Two 2016 Arrowhead HS RHP’s also showed well in Ryan Schmitt and Nathan Brown, both topping out at 87 mph.
Missouri commit, RHP Bryant Jordan (Home School, 2015) took home the top velocity prize touching 89 mph. Along with Jordan, 2015’s Alexander Lee (SPASH) touched 88 mph and Riley Wikel (Muskego) sat at 87 mph.
2015 outfielder JJ Johnson (Edgewood) led the outfield group with a 91 mph arm from the outfield, followed closely by 2016 Joey Baier (Bay Port) at 88 mph.
Nathan Brown (Arrowhead, 2016) put up the top exit velocity at 98 mph followed by Joe Acker (Marquette University, 2016) at 97 mph.
