Power 25 Update: Week 9

With the WIAA Playoffs in full swing and Sectionals starting up tomorrow, we will take a look at out first rendition of the Power 25 with playoff results.

Last week we saw six Power 25 teams eliminated from the playoffs, with none being more shocking then previous No. 1 Indian Trail losing its first playoff game to Wilmot. Along with Indian Trail, Previous No. 13 Tremper, No. 15 Beloit Turner, No. 18 Waterford, No. 20 Jefferson, and No. 24 Columbus all saw their season come to a close last week.

The Top 10 remains intact with just Indian Trail dropping to the No. 3 spot in the ranks.

With Sectionals being played tomorrow we will take a look at the top Division 1 Sectional with three ranked teams in it. The Marshfield Sectional features a matchup of No. 4 ranked Eau Claire Memorial vs. Chippewa Falls in game one, followed by No. 9 Stevens Point vs. No. 6 Eau Claire North. The winners will meet for the Sectional Championship follow the first two games.
