LHP Augie Mihlbauer (Mukwonago) is currently the No. 1 ranked player in the Wisconsin 2017 Class. Mihlbauer, a TCU commit, will be in attendance this coming February at the Super 60. His profile saw the most clicks following his performance at the Madison Preseason ID Showcase in March.

Scouting Report on Mihlbauer

3/13/16 - Texas Christian commit. 6-foot-1, 182-pound left-handed pitcher, loose live frame, projectable build, loose athlete. Tall and fall delivery, easy clean delivery, good balance, repeats well, squared landing, works on line with level shoulders. Arm action is loose and live, ¾ slot, whippy easy arm, projects well. Fastball has arm side run, controls the strike zone, showed feel, tough angle for hitters, sat 88-90 mph. Curveball has sweeping action, slurve type, improved feel and conviction, 69-72 mph, showed feel for the zone. Changeup has excellent feel, sinking action, fastball arm speed, 82-84 mph, plus type pitch. 2017 draft follow.
