Mitchell Weber is a long projectable left-handed pitcher from Oregon HS. At 6-foot-3, 185-pounds he has a long slender frame that can add plenty of strength.

Mitchell WeberHis arm action is very clean and athletic, loose free and easy from a high ¾ slot. Fastball has run with control At our last showcase, Weber sat 77-79 mph and touched 80 mph. Most recently at the Kernals Foundation Tournament in Iowa, reports had Weber in the low to mid 80’s. His changeup has feel using fastball similar arm action sitting 70-72 mph. His change shows sink and excellent arm action and should play as his best secondary pitch. His curveball has slurve feel and shows control at a slower split than a traditional curveball (59-62 mph). Weber also flashed a cutter ranging from 71-77 mph.

Weber’s intrigue comes in his long projectable frame with a loose athletic arm action. Colleges should like his upside on the mound and as a left-handed pitcher will garner plenty of attention.
