Weekend Roundup: April 11-12

Baseball season is underway in the Badger State and we will again bring you all the action on a daily basis through our Daily Roundup. We again have teamed up with Wisconsin Sports Network to bring you the most comprehensive coverage of game scores and highlights throughout the spring. Our Daily Roundup will include final scores with a link to box scores provided by wissports.net as well as any highlights or top performers we get. To make sure your highlights get included in the Daily Roundup, tweet your scores and highlights to us @PBRWisconsin or email them to Steve Nielsen at [email protected]. We will also be tracking GameChanger throughout the year, if your team uses GameChanger make sure we are notified and following your official scorer.

RHP Jack Bredeson got top ranked Arrowhead off to a hot start pitching a five inning 11-0 perfect game. Bredeson retired all 15 batters in order, striking out five. Sam Swan had a big day at the plate going 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI.

The Lightning easily handled Gladstone High School pitching as six hitters combined for 11 hits, 13 RBIs and nine runs scored.

The Lightning were led by Tyce Wheeler's hitting. Wheeler went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third inning.

Mitchell Eady shut down Gladstone High School while he was on the mound. Eady gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out three during his five innings of work.

The Sun Prairie Cardinals took extra innings and held on for the victory. The Cardinals scored on an RBI single by Coby Oswalt, scoring J.P. Curran.

Curran racked up three RBIs on three hits for Sun Prairie . He singled in the fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Marquis Reuter got the win. He tossed one inning of shutout ball. He struck out one, walked three and surrendered no hits.
