Team: Webster County
Nickname:
Highlanders
Class:
2A
League:
LKC
Head Coach: Wesley Eddy
2014 Overall Record: 3-17 (lost in section playoffs)

TOP PLAYERS:
Evan Wayne, RHP/SS/OF, Class of 2015 (hit .295 in 2014)
Martin Anderson, LHP/1B/OF, Class of 2015
Tyler Miller, C, Class of 2016 (hit .300 in 2014)

SEASON OUTLOOK:
Webster County will continue to look to make strides in 2015. The return of the core pieces of their lineup and pitching staff should allow the Highlanders to be more competitive on a game to game basis and an improvement on last year's three-win season is likely.

According to the Coach:
"We recorded three victories last season which are three more than the program recorded the previous two years. We return seven position starters and three pitchers. We will continue to rebuild the program and work on getting more players involved. Our goal is to be more competitive this year in the difficult LKC Conference. To do so we will have to improve offensively and continue to throw strikes. If we can do these two things - improvement is possible."
