West Virginia Executive Director of Scouting

It is with great pleasure that Pennsylvania Executive Director of Scouting Greg Williams has announced the appointment of Dan Williams to the position of Director of Scouting for West Virginia.

A licensed physical therapist since 1991, Williams was the rehabilitation consultant to the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1994-1996, spending time with the team in Bradenton, Florida for spring training.

Williams has coached high school baseball and competitive travel baseball in Pennsylvania and Ohio since 1996 with countless former players going on to play college baseball.

Most recently Williams acted as the pitching coach for Baird Brothers in the Youngstown Class B League assisting 16 players on the roster in moving on to college baseball, 12 of which will be playing at the Division I level.

Williams joins an extensive staff in West Virginia and Pennsylvania that works tirelessly to bring to you the most comprehensive high school baseball information while providing coverage to all corners of both states. Please email him at [email protected] with college commitments, relevant news, and top players in your area.

Many summer events are already set up at top-flight venues across Pennsylvania and more will be announced in the near future including additional sites in West Virginia. Prep Baseball Report events are designed to give players the maximum exposure needed to advance to the next level. Not only will players receive high-level exposure from college coaches, but all players at events will be videotaped, and the edited performance will be hosted online. All players’ profiles, verified statistics and write-ups can be searched in our expansive player database.
