Brady WilkinsonSenior lefty Brady Wilkinson went the distance with 13 strikeouts and hit a solo home run in support of himself to lead Riverside to a 5-3 home win on Tuesday evening over Huntington.

The evening started well for Huntington as Ben Fulks' two-out RBI single gave the Highlanders an early lead in spite of three strikeouts recorded by Wilkinson in the inning.

Riverside answered with two runs of their own in the bottom of the inning on two hits, a walk and a passed ball. The Warriros strung together four hits in the bottom of the 3rd inning to add to their lead with Wilkinson's solo home run being the big blow.

Huntington battled back with two runs in the top of the 5th inning but Wilkinson closed the door on them the rest of the way for the 5-3 win. On the evening Wilkinson gave up three hits and walked three to go along with his 13 punch outs. On the season he now leads the Kanawha Valley with 68 strikeouts in 33 innings of work.

Huntington (11-7) hosts Cabell Midland tonight at 7:00pm while Riverside travels to Hurricane for a 7:00 first pitch.
