Hedgesville rallied for six runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to break open a tight game and went on to top Mussleman 8-4. Three Mussleman errors, four walks issued by Applemen pitchers and 11 hits by Hedgesville ultimately spelled defeat for Mussleman.

Darrin Zombro went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and two RBI for the Applemen. Josh Kocher pitched the final three innings in relief for Hedgesville to earn the victory. He limited the Applemen to two hits while striking out five. Zombro took the loss after limiting Hedgesville to two runs through the first four innings. He was not able to make it out of the decisive 5th inning. Tyler Anders was 2-for-2 with a triple and two RBI to lead the Hedgesville offense.

Mussleman is back in action today as they take on Loudon County.
