Wesley HarrisonWesley Harrison (Wahama HS) had a solid sophomore season in 2012, hitting .325 with 32 RBI. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound backstop put up even more impressive numbers a year ago. Harrison raised his average to .433 with a .485 on base percentage. The right-handed hitter also displayed developing power potential with 13 doubles, a triple and drove in 29 runs.

During the course of his junior season, Harrison was a model of consistency for the Falcons. He hit safely in 25 of 30 games, including a 15 game hitting streak during one stretch. Maybe most impressive of the numbers he compiled is the fact that Harrison struck out just six times in 101 official plate appearances.

Harrison, ranked No. 28 in the WV Class of 2014, received Special Recognition Class A All-State for his play last spring. The two-sport athlete was also recently named Class A 1st Team All-State as an offensive lineman.
