Unsigned Senior Spotlight: SS Brandon Timbrook

By Greg Williams
WV Director of Scouting

Brandon TimbrookBrandon "Bucky" Timbrook had much to do with Hampshire High School's 25-4 season in 2013. The 5-foot-10, 150-pound shortstop hit .303 with 33 runs scored and 24 RBI in helping the Trojans reach the regional finals. Timbrook was 2nd on the team in home runs with three and was a perfect 9-for-9 in stolen base attempts as well.

Timbrook, ranked No. 39 in the WV Class of 2014, also contributed on the mound going 3-0 with a 3.59 ERA in 13.2 innings of work. He may have to take on an even bigger load on the hill in his senior season following the loss of RHP Matt Maiers (8-1) and LHP Josh Crawford (7-0) to graduation. Both have moved on to Potomac State College.

With Hampshire's success in 2013, Timbrook and several other talented prospects on the Trojans' roster are likely to receive considerable college interest this spring.
