Prep Baseball Report

WV Open ID Showcase Just Around the Corner

WV Director of Scouting

The first Prep Baseball Report event to be held in West Virginia was set to be held at Alderson-Broaddus College on July 16, but plans have changed. No the venue didn't change, but the name did. A-B officially became a University last week.

Players from West Virginia will have an opportunity for the first time to showcase their talents in front of PBR scouts and college coaches along with strong representation from Pennsylvania prospects electing to make the trip south.

Registrations will be accepted through the end of the day on July 9 so there is still time for prospects to add their names to the growing list of talented players planning to attend. At this point the number of Pennsylvania prospects outnumbers the West Virginia players 4 to 1. With nearly a week until the close of registrations we hope to see an increase in participation among prospects from West Virginia.

The initial Class of 2014 and Class of 2015 player rankings for West Virginia were released this week and will likely be adjusted and expanded after top prospects in the state get an opportunity to showcase their talents along other top players in the state.
