The 2nd Annual Atkinson Memorial Tournament is underway featuring 36 teams at 10 sites up and down the Front Range.  PBR Staff is traveling the sites scouting the kick off tournament for the Fall Season.
Here are two standout performances by players from Wyoming during the tournament.

CODY BROOKS  RHP / 1B / CHEYENNE EAST, WY / 2019

6-foot-2, 170-pound junior made the start for WYCO against Slammers Loseke.  He was the ace of the staff for Post 6 in Cheyenne during the legion season.  He has a projectable frame and changes his arm angle on delivery.  He delivers from a 3/4 to high 3/4 arm slot.  He went 2 scoreless for WYCO.  Fast ball was 79-82 and touched 83 a couple of times.  We used a 71-72 MPH slider on the outer half to keep the hitters off balance.

MICHAEL SCHUTTERLE  1B / RHP / LARAMIE, WY / 2019

The junior right handed pitcher and 1B had a nice game for WYCO against Slammers Zavaras.  Hitting from a balanced stance he showed good power to the pull side and the ability to go the other way.  He collected 2 hits for WYCO in this game.
