  • Cory Wilder

    Cory Wilder, RHP, Lima Shawnee, 2013 - Wilder is a lanky, athletic right-handed pitching prospect. He uses a high 3/4 arm slot and long, loose arm action. He generates an easy upper 80's fastball that touches up to 92. His curveball, which has 11/5 break, sits between 76-78 mph and a sinking 76-78 mph changeup. 

  • Zach Cook

    Milford HS, RHP/1B, 2013: The 6-foot-1, 190-pound two-way prospect likely projects as a pitcher at the next level. From a high 3/4 arm slot, he generates an 83-86 mph fastball with arm side run. He shows a fluid, easy delivery that will only deliver more velocity in the future. His curveball, which features sharp, 11/4 action, registers at 65-67 mph. His changeup, which is thrown near fastball speed, has fade and registers at 65-66 mph. 

  • Riley Mahan

    Moeller HS, OF/IF, 2014: The 6-foot-2, 165-pound athlete has a tall, lanky build that will surely fill out in time. He registered a time of 7.1 with the 60-yard dash. In the outfield, the right-handed throwing prospect uses a long and loose throwing action that registered 82 mph. At the plate, Mahan shows a quiet confidence. He uses a long stride, smooth load, and short, uphill path to the ball to generate pull power to right field.  

  • Justin Wampler

    Moeller HS, OF/IF, 2013: The 5-foot-9, 150-pound athlete may appear undersized, but he packs plenty of punch in the field and at the plate. He is a right-handed hitting and right-handed throwing outfielder that shows 7.01 speed in the 60-yard dash. From the outfield, he uses a loose arm action and a high 3/4 arm slot to generate a consistent velocity of 84 mph. In the infield, he consistently attacks the baseball while showing good footwork and range. At the plate, he displays a balanced, athletic approach. He uses a short, compact swing and backside approach to generate consistent line drives.  

  • Tom Stoffel

    Northmont HS, OF/LHP, 2013: The 5-foot-10, 165-pound athlete has a short, but solid frame. He is a left-handed hitting and left-handed throwing prospect, who showed 7.34 speed in the 60-yard dash. From the outfield, he needs to quicken his exchange, but his loose, high 3/4 arm slot generates a consistent 82 mph velocity. At the plate, he proved to be a gap-to-gap hitter with a level swing path and balanced approach at the plate. 

  • Carlos Ortiz

    Lincoln West, OF, 2013: The 5-foot-11, 175-pound outfielder has an athletic build. From the outfield, the left-handed throwing Ortiz registered a top velocity of 87 mph. He uses a clean and easy short arm action that generates carry on his throws. At the plate, the left-handed hitter has an athletic, balanced setup. He uses a short stride and an explosive lower half. He uses a quick load and keeps his hands inside the baseball while reaching consistent extension at the point of contact. He is one of the top hitting outfielders in the Class of 2013.

     

  • Jonny Nottingham

    Jonny Nottingham, RHP, Massillon Jackson, 2013: The 6-foot, 205-pound right-handed prospect has a thick, muscular build. His fastball sat at 84-86 mph and touches up to 88 mph. He shows command of three effective off-speed pitches. His slider, which has good tilt, sits at 74-76 mph while his curveball registers at 70 mph. His changeup, which shows some fade, sits at 70-75 mph.
