Griffin, is a 6-foot-1 155-pound two way player with an athletic frame and thin build. On the mound he shows a feel to pitch, with three pitches. His fastball works 82-84, but has shown the ability to work up to 86 mph. He compliments the fastball with a curveball and changeup. His curveball works 71-74 mph with 2/7 with gradual break. His changeup is thrown with fastball arm speed at 75-76 mph. He uses repeated mechanics from a simple delivery. He works from H ¾ arm slot with a quick clean arm. He projects to throw harder as he continues to fill out.

As a position player, he shows solid instincts in the outfield, he plays through the baseball with fluid footwork, a normal exchange and an accurate arm throwing the baseball 80 mph from the outfield. Offensively he works from a tall stance, he uses a leg kick for his load stride combination. He attacks the baseball with a line drive swing, and had shown the ability to hit balls to all fields with exit velocity up to 84 mph. He runs a 6.73 in the 60. Overall Griffin, is an advanced athlete with potential to compete at the next level either on the mound or as an outfielder.
