5-12-16
hunderRidge to 2 runs over 6 and 2/3 innings. Had the bases loaded with 2 outs in the 7th up 3-2 and just struck out the 3-hole hitter on a 90 mph fastball but then had to be pulled due to the new Colorado pitch count rules. (Was at 110). On the very next pitcher the relief pitcher came in and threw a wild pitch and game was tied. Fastball was consistently 86 but touched 90. Snavely has always been all over the board with fastball. Will come in at 85..then 89. Once we have had at 91 and 92. Usually lives at 88.  Pounded the strike zone today. Curveball was thrown for strikes at 70-72 mph with a 12-6 gradual break. Change was sharp today thrown at 76 mph. Has a smooth easy effort delivery keeps him square to the plate with a long and loose arm. On landing falls off to first base. Potential late round draft kid.

6-foot-5, 190-pound, right-handed pitcher.  Snavely is more impressive each time we see him. A Very projectable right-handed pitcher for the class of 2016.  Smooth easy effort delivery keeps him square to the plate with a long and loose arm.  Delivered pitches from both an over the top slot as well as a high ¾ slot.  Fastball was 87-88 with one at 90.  Snavely's ball has run and good down angle.  A 70-72 MPH curve had 12/6 rotation with gradual break. Curveball was thrown consistently for strikes. Changeup was thrown at 76-78 MPH change, and was thrown more at same arm speed as fastball since the last time we saw him. Snavely is very projectable, and looks effortless when he throws. Made the Junior Sunbelt Roster

Committed to Wichita State and currently ranked No. 6 in the 2016 class. 6-foot-5, 190-pound, right-handed pitcher.  Very projectable right-handed pitcher. Smooth easy effort delivery keeps him square to the plate with a long and loose arm.  Delivered pitches from both an over the top slot as well as a high ¾ slot. Pitched one inning in relief. Fastball was 90-91 and hit a 92. Much improved from 3-1-15 Preseason All-State event where Snavely was 86-87.
3-1-15
6-foot-5, 190-pound, right-handed pitcher.  Very projectable right-handed pitcher for the class of 2016.  Smooth easy effort delivery keeps him square to the plate with a long and loose arm.  Delivered pitches from both an over the top slot as well as a high ¾ slot.  Fastball was 87-88 with slight run and good down angle.  A 70-72 MPH curve had 12/6 rotation with gradual break.  Pitch was constantly down in the strike zone.  Slows arm a bit on a 76-78 MPH change, but it was thrown for strikes with late sink. When you look at Snavely you can see there is easy another 15 pounds you can add on him which will add velocity down the road. Very projectable, and looks effortless when he throws.

8-30-14
The 6-foot-5 190 pound right handed pitcher had a nice showing this weekend.  Snavely threw 4 innings in game two of the tournament and displayed a fastball that jumped from his hand between 84-86 mph.  Snavely complemented his fast ball with a 72 mph change and a 74-76 mph curve with sharp 11-5 break.  Snavely who has grown quickly is getting more comfortable pitching with his 6-5 frame.  He has a smooth delivery and throws with an straight over the top arm motion.  This helped him change pitches this weekend keeping hitters off balance.
