5-foot-10, 180-pound, strong, thick physical frame. The hands and wrists have above average strength to them. A right-handed hitting two-way player, the top tool is his bat, has a chance to hit and hit with some power at the next level. The stance is balanced throughout, feet are even and are shoulder width apart. The hands and wrists are loaded up at shoulder height, bat starts in a good tilted position. The lower half is under control, uses a high controlled leg kick, helps produce pop to the swing. The swing is flat through the zone, stays through the baseball, creates lift to the swing. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 83 mph, in game performance was good collecting two singles. Time down the line was clocked at 5.0. Defensively, the hands are soft, works the through the baseball, transfer is simple, shuffles the feet, transfers baseball from glove to throwing hand smoothly. The arm works out of a ¾ slot, clocked at 70 mph. Off the mound, this right-handed had a simple easy repeatable delivery. The hands stay at chest high throughout, leg raise is athletic and gets to a good gather. The separation is on time and even, stride leg lands slightly closed off, has some cross fire to the delivery. The arm action has average length, works out of a ¾ slot, fastball was clocked at 78-81 mph, located it to the arm side. The breaking ball was clocked at 71-72 mph, was thrown with some velocity and showed to have a late break to it. Projects for me as a first baseman, with the ability to pitch out of the pen with the hard breaking ball.
