6-foot-3, 195-pound right-handed pitcher and first baseman. Defensively. Very skilled around the bag, the feet work well.  Showed the ability to get off the bag and move around well above average. Ran a 4.9 down the line on his dig to fist base. Offensively, tee exit velocity of 83 mph. Sets up with his feet even, and a relaxed hands start. The bottom half has a small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The swing is clean and free. The hands work extremely well to contact, and with strength added to the frame I like his chances to hit for power. On the mound, the fastball touched 81 mph. The spin pitch, has the correct shape to it, sat at 72 mph. The changeup is progressing nicely, sat at 71 mph. Pitches out of a plus ¾ slot, athletic lift and coil at the top of the lift. Does a nice job of staying closed with the front shoulder as he gets into foot strike. The glove side of the pitcher comes across the hitters face.  I like on the mound, all 3 pitches spin correctly.
