PROCASE

5-foot-9, 180-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Has done a remarkable job of bulking up the upper body, adding physical strength and buggy whip to the swing. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 89 mph. The setup is event with his feet, uses a big pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The swing is in and out of the strikes zone, needs to flatten out vs college pitching. The hands are strong and he gets the barrel there. Expect solid offensive production out of him. Ran a 6.8 sixty on the laser and did it with ease. Threw 78 mph across the infield out of a quick release and soft hands. The glove is solid and he can pick, it, ideal slot to handle the pivot. I like him as a player, more than likely a college draft.

Tee Exit Velocity- 89 mph

INF Velocity- 78 mph

8/5/16- Future Game Report

5-foot-8, 165-pound average athletic frame, hands and wrists are strong and have some fast twitch to them. The offensive part to his game is advanced, the hands really work at the plate. The stance is quiet and base is balanced throughout the swing. The approach is gap to gap, keeps his hands inside the ball well, and stays on and through it. The tee exit velocity was 89 mph, ran the 60 yard in 6.95, was 4.12 on an infield hit and was 4.53 on a turn. In game performance was good, went 4-7, with a double and 2 walks. Defensively, plays up the middle, projects for me as more of a second baseman. The flow and feet are good, could field the baseball out front more. The arm action is clean, was clocked at 79 mph, footwork was good around the bag from both sides. High follow, can hit, could be a power hitting second baseman.

7/12/16
5-foot-8, 175-pound, strong athletic frame. Hands, forearms and legs are strong and he his put together well. An athletic right-handed hitter, the stance is slightly wider than shoulder height and is even toe to toe. The hands are loose and work freely to and through the baseball. The direction is good to the ball, keeps his hands inside and drives it well to both gaps, has plus pop to all fields. The tee exit velocity was 89 mph, the legs might be his best tool, he ran down the line in 4.11. In game performance was good, collected a gap triple and made solid contact throughout. Defensively, plays up the middle, prep steps and footwork are good. Starts low and works up, gets ball out front with no wasted movement. The arm works out of a ¾ slot was clocked at 74 mph. Pro-move was made well, got through the ball. Attending the future games, projects for me as a power hitting second baseman. Big time follow.

12/12/15
Second PBR event for Justin showed extremely well again. Heading to the Future Games in Indianapolis in August, Guerrerra can really swing the bat. Hits from the right side, hands and wrists are very powerful. The stance is open, hands are set high, uses a high leg kick for timing. Drives the ball to all fields with authority. The tee exit velocity was 88 mph and ran a 7.03 60-yard dash, the tee exit will continue to climb. In the field, he shows good hands, could get it out front a little more, transfer is very quick from the catch to the throwing position. The arm was 78 mph across the diamond, footwork was good from both sides of the bag in starting the double play. This kid has a chance to play at a very high level, projects out for me to be a power hitting second baseman.

10/11/15
Right-handed hitting infielder, can really swing the bat.  Handles the bat with ease, hands have life to them. The stance is wide and slightly open, hands are set above shoulder height, the hands might have a bit too much movement with trigger, bottom half is under control. Throws the barrel, tee exit velocity was 87, serious life. Ran a 4.49 with a solid kick, ran hard. In the field, arm has carry to it, was an easy 80 across diamond. Hands are soft and footwork is good around the bag, needs to come get ball a little more, nothing he can't fix. Played both sides of the bag in game, projects out to be an offensive middle guy.
