6-foot-175, average athletic frame. A right-handed hitting third baseman, at the plate feet are wider than shoulder width, hands are loose at the shoulders. The swing is level across the chest, finishes high with one hand. The approach is gap to gap, had a tee exit velocity of 81 mph. The lower half is under control, transfers weight from the back to the front, simple stride. Took a solid batting practice, had hard contact all day.  Time down the line was at 4.37, runs well. Defensively, arm was clocked at 77 mph, good life and carry to all throws, gets through the first baseman.The hands are soft, works from the ground up, transfer is quick and clean, gets the baseball into the throwing position smoothly. The backhand play was made with easy effort and the slow roller play was accurate and footwork was on time. Solid third baseman, should, make all routine plays and will make good contact.

Defensively, shows sound footwork and instincts. Reads the ball well off the bat with above average hands. Throws from a low ¾ slot and registered a top throw at 78 mph from the infield. Profiles best at second base. In the box, the hands work from shoulder height. Little pre-pitch movement. Strong one hand finish. Swings with upper body. Can generate some more juice by tapping into his legs. Compact stroke, built for line drive approach. Comfortable hitting to all fields. Patient at the plate. Good follow, is athletic and shows polish on the defensive end, with an ability to make adjustments in the box.
