At the plate, the stance is simple, feet are closer together, it’s taller, lower half is under control, gains ground with the stride, uses a small clean leg kick. The hands are loose, set above his shoulders, swing is level through the zone, barrel has some whip and flick out front on contact. Stays through the baseball well, rolls the hands late, approach is more middle to opposite. In game swings were good, collected two base hits and made good hard contact in other at bats. Defensively, had a pop time of 2.01-2.13 with an in game throw at 2.12 and 2.14, arm was clocked at 72 mph. The arm works out of a higher slot, it's clean and all throws were on the bag. Showed to have solid, soft hands when receiving was a good target to pitch to, feet could get slightly wider. Good follow, played well on both sides, has the aptitude to work behind the plate, looks to really if back there.

Pop times were 2.09 - 2.13 with the arm being clocked at 69 mph. Throws showed to have good flight on a line and on the correct side of the bag. Offensively hits from the right side, the stance is taller, shoulder width apart and slightly open. The hands are set just above the shoulders and are loose with some movement to them. The swing path is level, finishes high with one hand. The tee exit climbed since his last event up to 83 mph, barrel has whip and life out front. Ran the 60 yard in 7.10. Good looking young catcher, real good follow.
10/30/16 Showed extremely well in the game, as he had a bunch of hits, spreading the field at will. The set up is even with a slightly opened front foot. Picks up and puts down the front foot as the ball approaches, which is under control. The hands work well, and shows a flat path. The front shoulder does come off the ball, making him more pull prone. Tee exit velocity of 81 mph. Ran a 5.06 down the line on his dig to first base. Defensively, showed a 71 mph arm from behind the dish. Pop time of 2.1 as the footwork and transfer need to be cleaned up. Showed soft hands receiving the ball and the blocking is solid. Solid prospect.
